(WNFL)- Brewers’ Hall-of-Fame radio broadcaster Bob Uecker will not return to the airwaves until next Tuesday night. The 81-year-old Uecker suffered a mild concussion on Monday night, when he was hit by a ball during batting practice. He was standing behind the batting cage when a line drive hit a protective screen in front of the pitcher. It bounced back over the cage and struck Uecker on his forehead. He started calling the game on Monday but left in the sixth inning after he felt dizzy. Uecker did not broadcast last night’s Milwaukee home loss to Kansas City and he was not scheduled to travel with the team to KC and Colorado. Jeff Levering has filled in for Uecker during some road trips this season and he’ll do the same until Uecker returns next Tuesday night when the Brewers host the New York Mets.
Uecker will be back on Tuesday
