The Green Bay Phoenix men’s basketball team has signed a home and home contract with the University of Toldeo. New head coach Linc Darner has agreed to the games which will bring former Phoenix head coach Tod Kowalczyk back to the Resch Center in Green Bay on December 6. Kowalczyk coached Green Bay for 8 seasons but avoided playing his old school with his former assistant, Brian Wardle coaching the team. Wardle left this spring for Bradley University and Darner worked out the deal that will have the Phoenix play the Rockets in Toledo during the 2016-17 season.
