MADISON, WI (WSAU) — Wisconsin will have an in-person State of the State address in 2022.
Lawmakers will be called in for a joint session of the Senate and Assembly on February 15th at 7 PM to hear from the Governor, according to Wisconsin Senate President Chris Kapenga and Assembly Speaker Robin Vos.
The 2021 event was delivered online due to the COVID-19 pandemic. There was an in-person State of the State address in January of 2020, weeks before the COVID-19 pandemic took hold of the state.
More information on what the Governor plans to address in the speech will be announced as the date draws closer.
