(WNFL) – The Milwaukee Brewers have swept their first series since last August, after winning at Philadelphia 8-7 in eleven innings last night. Adam Lind drove in the winning run on a single that scored Jonathan Lucroy, who doubled to lead off the frame. Luis Garcia was tagged with the loss. He’s now 2-3. Michael Blazek pitched two scoreless relief innings for the win. He’s 5-2. Francisco Rodriguez pitched a 1-2-3 ninth for his 18th save. Cody Asche belted a two-run homer for the Phillies, who have lost seven-of-their-last-eight. Lind and Jean Segura each drove in two runs, and Lucroy went 3-for-6 and scored twice for the Crew. Milwaukee now has a five-game winning streak for the first time since last August. They move on to Cincinnati tonight. Right-hander Mike Fiers goes against Reds’ right-hander Michael Lorenzen.
