(WNFL) – Over 22-thousand fans watched Brett Favre play a flag football game with his old Green Bay teammates, with NFL legends on the other side. The charity event was held yesterday in Madison, the day after an emotional night at Lambeau Field where Favre was inducted into the Packers’ Hall-of-Fame and had his Number-Four retired. Packer greats from the 1990’s-and-2000’s — including Antonio Freeman, Gilbert Brown, Frank Winters, Al Harris, and Mark Tauscher — played on a Favre team that beat the former NFL stars 38-32. Donovan McNabb quarterbacked that team. He got help from players like Roger Craig and Ed “Too Tall” Jones. Favre said he was exhausted after his whirlwind Wisconsin weekend. He’ll be back in November, where #4 will join the list of other retired numbers on the Lambeau facade at a Thanksgiving Night contest against the Chicago Bears.
