Wisconsin Rapids put up three runs in the top of the ninth inning to beat the Green Bay Bullfrogs 6-3 at Joannes Stadium Monday night. Green Bay falls to 12-12 in the second half of the Northwoods League season, six games behind South Division leading Kenosha, the first half division champs. The Frogs host the Rafters again Tuesday night at 7:05 PM.
A half dozen Bullfrogs have been invited to a Major League Scouting showcase in Madison on August 4. The list includes pitcher Garrett Harrison who is 4-1 on the year and leads the Northwoods League in earned run average at 1.14.
