Wily Peralta returned to the mound after spending two months on the disabled list with an oblique strain and he gave the Brewers a big boost in a 5-2 victory over the San Francisco Giants Tuesday night at AT&T Park. Peralta gave up two runs in six plus innings to earn the win. The stagnant offense came to life scoring two runs in the first inning of Giants starter Matt Cain. Gerrardo Parra led off with a double and came home on a two bagger from Carlos Gomez. Adam Lind drove in Gomez with a single. Lind and Johnathan Lucroy added RBI knocks for a 4-0 lead after four innings. Francisco Rodriguez finished up for his 23rd save. The Brewers will send Mike Fiers against Jake Peavy in the series rubber game Wednesday afternoon. Pre-game coverage begins at 2:10 PM on WTAQ.
