(WNFL) – Former Wisconsin quarterback Russell Wilson will soon be paid almost as much as Aaron Rodgers. The Seattle Seahawks have given a four-year contract extension to Wilson, reportedly worth almost 87-point-six million dollars. That’s just below the 22-million dollars given to Green Bay’s Rodgers, who’s the NFL’s highest-paid player. The 26-year-old Wilson is in his fourth season with Seattle. He’s due to get just over one-and-a-half million in the final year of his rookie contract. Wilson’s new deal includes almost 60-million dollars in guaranteed money. He won a Super Bowl with Seattle in the 2013 season, and took them to another Super Bowl a season ago with an NFC Championship win over the Packers.
