(WNFL) – When Randall Cobb left Saturday’s 39-26 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles and Jordy Nelson was already out for the season, coach Mike McCarthy was taking no chances. He removed wide receiver Davante Adams from the game to insure his health moving forward. Adams ended up playing only three plays before being pulled from the game. After Nelson and Cobb, Adams is next on the Packers depth chart. It turns out Cobb’s shoulder injury is reported to be an AC Joint Sprain. The Packers are hoping Cobb will return in time for the season opener against the Chicago Bears. The Packers roster stands at 88 players right now. They have to be down to 75 by three 0’clock Tuesday afternoon.
