GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) – The Packers Women’s Association (PWA) will host the 29th annual Food Drive for Paul’s Pantry this Sunday.
Packers fans going to the game against the St. Louis Rams are asked to bring non-perishable food items and cash donations. The PWA will collect those items in the Lambeau Field parking lot and at gates. Canned goods can also be dropped off at bins located throughout the stadium parking lots.
The event this year is headed by co-chairwoman Alyssa Janis, wife of Packers wide receiver, Jeff Janis, and Ericka Whitt, wife of Packers secondary-cornerbacks coach, Joe Whitt Jr.
Generous fans will also have the opportunity to win Packers autographed items. For every $5 donation or five non-perishable food items given, a fan will receive a ticket stub. The winning ticket numbers will be drawn and announced on the scoreboard during the game.
In the past 28 years, the PWA has collected nearly a million non-perishable food items and more than $300,000 for Paul’s Pantry.
