(WNFL) – Green Bay Packers linebacker Clay Matthews came to the sidelines for a tape job after injuring his ankle in last nights 29-10 loss at Denver. Matthews was able to resume play, but had trouble in coverage after the injury and admitted after the game that the injury was quite painful. Matthews said they’ll likely do some tests on Monday and monitor the ankle daily. Matthews said he’s hoping not to have to miss any time moving forward. The Packers have another matchup against a top NFL team this Sunday, facing Carolina. Carolina is unbeaten, but must face Indianapolis tonight before playing host to the Packers on Sunday.
