DE PERE, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – A teenager in De Pere is helping cancer patients through a nonprofit she started.
On Thursday night, Grace Fuss and a group of volunteers assembled care packages at West De Pere High School. The gifts were given to cancer patients.
Grace tells FOX she has a good idea of what they need because her mom is a breast cancer survivor.
“You will find blankets and some puches for their sore muscles, some soup pockets, some puzzles, some books and just any essentials that my mom needed when she went through treatment.”
The group she founded is called “Fighting Cancer with Grace.” She has been raising money all year.
The packages will be delivered to Bellin Health today.
