(WNFL) – Conference play begins tonight (Wednesday) for both men’s-and-women’s basketball teams in the WIAC. On the men’s side, 15th-ranked U-W Whitewater opens in Menomonie against Stout — and Number-19 Stevens Point heads to Eau Claire. Oshkosh is at River Falls, and La Crosse hosts Platteville. The WIAC women’s teams have the same matchups on the opposing floors, and undefeated Whitewater is ranked sixth in Division-Three at 11-0. League play also resumes in the Midwest Conference, where the Saint Norbert men-and-women are both 6-0 — and there are full men’s schedules in the NACC and CCIW.
