(WNFL) – Wisconsin men’s hockey coach Mike Eaves announced Monday that goaltender Ryan Breon has been added to the roster as a walk-on. Current goaltender Gabe Grunwald had surgery and is going to be out the rest of the season, so the Badgers were in search of a third net-minder. Breon is a native of Orono, Minnesota and is currently a junior at Wisconsin. He played three seasons of varsity hockey at Orono High School and was the starting goaltender for the Spartans in his final two seasons. In 52 career games at Orono, Breon had a 25-19-3 record with a two-point-nine-eight goals-against-average and a .894 save percentage.
