(WNFL) – Two of the nation’s top women’s college hockey teams square off this weekend when second-ranked Wisconsin plays at Number-three Minnesota tonight and tomorrow afternoon. The Badgers clinched the WCHA title with a sweep of Minnesota State last weekend. Minnesota honors five seniors tomorrow, including Madison area native Amanda Kessel — who just returned after missing almost three seasons from playing in the 2012 Olympics and suffering a long-term concussion. Kessel has one goal and three assists in four games since her return. Meanwhile, the Wisconsin men’s hockey team will host Michigan State tonight and tomorrow night, after a home loss and tie to Michigan last weekend.
