GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – A Green Bay school will be closed for a few days after a number of students and staff will be out for quarantine.
The Leonardo da Vinci school will be closed, starting Friday and reopen on Tuesday, Nov. 30.
Earlier this week, it was announced that just 4th and 5th graders would be learning from home due to high transmission levels in those grades.
Students will learn virtually while the building is closed.
In a Facebook post, the school wrote:
The decision to temporarily close is due to the number of students and staff who are testing COVID+, symptomatic, or needing to quarantine due to a close contact.
