APPLETON, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Milwaukee police are searching for a homicide suspect who may be tied to a burglary case in Appleton.
The homicide happened on Oct. 2, 2021 around 9:48 p.m. in the 1800 block of W. Walnut Street in Milwaukee.
The suspect allegedly fired several shots, striking the victim, causing death.
On Tuesday, police released surveillance images of the suspect. He was last seen wearing a multi-colored hooded sweatshirt, black Nike shorts, white shoes with a black Nike logo and a dark-colored backpack. He was also armed with a handgun, police say.
Appleton police do not have the name of the suspect but do say his description is similar to the suspect description in a burglary case, leading investigators to believe he may have ties to Appleton.
