ASHWAUBENON, WI (WTAQ) — Bellin Health is expanding in Ashwaubenon.
Bellin is building a large, five-story Ambulatory Surgery Center will be built on the site of the former Menards Store off of I-41.
“We’re going to have 8 operating rooms which will provide orthopedic and other surgical services that can be done safely at that location,” said Bellin Health Chief Financial Officer Jim Dietsche. “We’ll add occupational and speech therapy at that site as well and there is future ability to expand into those other floors to provide other services.”
Dietsche says the center will ultimately result in lower costs for patients and meet increased demand for surgical services.
“It will also house physical therapy and rehabilitative services, and it will have and I some of our orthopedic providers that are currently under titletown site,” Dietsche continued.
Construction is expected to begin early next year for a Fall 2023 opening. The total cost of the project is still being assessed.
