- • Broke an eight-year-old Minnesota 8K record with a time of 23:26.7 at the Paul Short Run on Oct. 5 in Bethlehem, Pa., topping the previous mark set by Hassan Mead at the 2011 Big Ten Championships (23:29)
- • Finished third in a 395-runner field and topped his previous personal best by nearly 20 seconds
- • Helped the Gophers place fifth in the 45-team event, including a pair of wins over ranked teams
- • Twice recognized as a Big Ten Distinguished Scholar and Academic All-Big Ten selection (2017, 2018)
- • Earns his second career Athlete of the Week award
