(WNFL) – Calvin University outshot St. Norbert 16-6 and defeated the Green Knights in the second-round of the NCAA Division III men’s soccer tournament in Grand Rapids, Mich. on Saturday.
Calvin got a goal from Hunter Olson in the sixth minute and then back-to-back goals from Sam Twigg in the 14th and 32nd minutes to build a 3-0 lead.
St. Norbert’s goal came in the 44th minute from Drake Vandermause with Anthony Pineda and Mitchell Scholz getting assists.
Josh Koleske had three saves for St. Norbert.
