MANITOWOC, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Manitowoc police are asking for help as they investigate a string of vehicle thefts.
Police say at least eight vehicles were stolen from the north and south sides of the city between Oct. 5 and Thursday. Some of them have been recovered, while others continue to be sought.
Two people have been charged in some of the cases, but police believe there are more suspects.
Those with information leading to one or more arrests may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000. Tips can be submitted to Crime Stoppers at 1-920-683-4466 or through the P3 smartphone app. Tips may be left anonymously.
Police encourage vehicle owners to make sure keys are not left inside and valuable items are hidden from view.
