GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – The suspect wanted by police for a sexual assault in downtown Green Bay allegedly reached his hand down a woman’s pants and grabbed her, according to a criminal complaint.
Di’Anthony Rowe, 19, is charged with second-degree sexual assault for the Oct. 1 incident at an apartment building in 100 block of East Walnut Street.
An initial court appearance was scheduled for Wednesday afternoon.
According to the criminal complaint, the victim said she was talking with Rowe when he reached into her pants and grabbed her. She then punched him, and he ran off.
Rowe told police he was reaching for her wallet to rob her – even though surveillance video shows her wearing a purse and he never attempts to grab the purse, the complaint states.
Green Bay Police released images with Rowe’s pictures on a couple of occasions, seeking information about the attack.
