ONEIDA, WI (WTAQ) – Oneida Nation Schools will be closed for a week after a staff member tested positive for COVID-19.
The district and Oneida Nation Public Health Department determined it was best to quarantine all school sites in the district and transition to virtual learning.
The closure begins today and will go through Friday, October 15th.
The district plans to welcome students back to the classroom on Monday, October 18th.
Tribal officials say they will continue to monitor the situation.
