BROWN COUNTY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — The J-turn on Highway 29 west of Green Bay is permanently closing on Monday.
The median turnaround was built near the intersection of highways 29 and VV in 2013. Drivers headed south on VV who want to go east on 29 are required to travel west a short distance, then turn around.
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation is building a full interchange at 29 and VV. Construction is set to last until next year.
In the meantime, drivers will need to go west on 29 and use the Highway 32 interchange to turn around.
