FOND DU LAC, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — A second suspect, Jesse Schultz, has been convicted in the murder of Logan Foster.
Schultz pleaded guilty on Friday to first-degree reckless homicide for the Sept. 23, 2017 death. Sentencing is scheduled for Nov. 17, court records show.
Schultz had been scheduled to stand trial Sept. 9.
The other suspect, Devon Neuman, was convicted by a jury in July of first-degree intentional homicide. His sentencing is Nov. 12.
Officials believe Foster and the two suspects began talking outside the tavern and walked across the street to the vacant lot where the suspects attempted to rob Foster. Police believe a physical altercation occurred and Foster was shot twice and killed. The men stole money from Foster and used it to buy drugs, according to the criminal complaint.
