SUAMICO, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – A group of motorcyclists hit the road to raise money for suicide awareness.
They participated in a suicide prevention ride, sponsored by Family Services of Northeast Wisconsin.
They started at noon at Shooter’s Bar in Suamico.
The group then rode up to Oconto Falls, through Little Suamico, and then finished at Chambers Hill in Suamico.
Jeanne Perret is the ride organizer and founder. She tells FOX 11 it’s her 12th year of doing this.
“I’m basically a survivor, suffering from anxiety and depression for the last 26 years, and this is big and huge for my heart to try to help other people.”
The ride ended with a celebration outside Chambers Hill.
