KIMBERLY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – The Kimberly Area School District has voted to mandate masks.
Kimberly’s school board approved the mandate in a 5-2 vote late Monday night.
It applies to students, staff, and visitors beginning September 1st. A medical exemption option will be available.
The mandate will be re-evaluated during the board’s October meeting.
Kimberly is joining with other school districts, like Oshkosh, Appleton, and Green Bay in making masks mandatory to start the school year.
