OSHKOSH, WI (WTAQ) — A 23-year-old Oshkosh man is facing preliminary charges of illegal discharged of a firearm following a report of gunshots Tuesday night in Oshkosh.
Around 11:00 pm Tuesday, Oshkosh Police were dispatched to the area of the 200 block of North Main Street for a report of an armed man firing multiple rounds from a handgun. When police arrived, more shots were heard in the 500 block of North Main Street.
Officers located and arrested the man. A handgun was also recovered. This person was taken to the Winnebago County jail. No one was injured during this incident. The name of the man has not been released.
