TWO RIVERS, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — A man was arrested after leading police on a chase in Two Rivers.
Police say that shortly before 2 p.m. Friday, an officer tried to stop a vehicle heading north on State Highway 42/Memorial Drive for a traffic violation.
A brief pursuit followed, spanning a little more than a mile and reaching speeds of nearly 90 mph.
The chase ended when the vehicle turned onto Roosevelt Avenue and stopped in the 2300 block of the street.
The driver, a 27-year-old Two Rivers man, was arrested on charges of felony fleeing an officer and felony bail jumping. Two passengers were released at the scene.
No one was injured.
