APPLETON, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — A free pop-up clinic aimed at increasing access to the COVID-19 vaccine welcomed community members Saturday.
It was aimed at increasing access to the vaccine for Appleton’s communities of color.
The clinic was held at RxLink in Appleton.
“The people who are more vulnerable are those who have not been vaccinated,” said Jude Jean Pierre, RxLink owner. “Plus looking right now, looking forward into the Fall, we have to be very cautious and very proactive. The school system will be opening up soon… we have to get a hold of this before the variants dominate the communities.”
The second dose clinic will be held August 21 from 1-3 p.m.
