GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) — The Mason Street Bridge in Green Bay is officially open again for the first time since July 6th.
Crews tested the bridge several times Tuesday and found it to be in working order.
The bridge has been closed since July 6, when it opened for a boat — and could not be closed.
Wisconsin Department of Transportation officials last week said they traced the problem to corroded bolts that caused gears to become disengaged.
