TOWN OF SCOTT, WI (WTAQ) – One person is dead after a rollover crash Friday morning in Sheboygan County.
The Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Office says it received a call shortly after 6 a.m. Friday for a vehicle in the woods off State Highway 28, north of Lone Pine Road in the Town of Scott.
Deputies say they found the driver, a woman in her mid-20s, dead at the scene. They believe the driver was trapped in the vehicle when it crashed.
Upon initial investigation, the sheriff’s office says the woman was going north on Highway 28 when she went off the road, rolled over and hit some trees.
The cause and nature of the crash is still being investigated. The driver has not been identified.
