GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – Three judges and an attorney are being recommended to be the next federal judge for the Eastern District of Wisconsin.
Republican Sen. Ron Johnson and Democratic Sen. Tammy Baldwin made the recommendations to the White House on Tuesday.
Those recommended are Brown County judges Tammy Jo Hock and Thomas Walsh; Milwaukee County Judge William Pocan and Krista Halla-Valdes, a lawyer with Federal Defender Services of Wisconsin.
The next judge will succeed Green Bay-based William Griesbach, who is retiring.
