FOND DU LAC, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — A man who was reported missing Thursday was found dead Friday after he was pulled from the Fond du Lac River.
The Fond du Lac Police Department says they received a call shortly before 7 p.m. Friday for a report of a body found in the Fond du Lac River under the 9th Street Bridge.
First responders pulled the body of a 37-year-old Fond du Lac man, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
Officials say the man was reported missing the day before.
Upon the initial investigation, there were no obvious signs of foul play.
A cause of death is still undetermined. An autopsy will be conducted by the Fond du Lac County Medial Examiner’s Office.
