GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Saturday’s temperatures broke records across Northeast Wisconsin, some of which had been on the books for nearly 90 years.
Temperatures in Green Bay hit 95 degrees at Austin Straubel Airport, breaking the record of 93 set back in 1934. In Appleton, the temperatures recorded Saturday tied the record of 93 set in 1988.
Several other municipalities recorded record breaking heat.
The warm temperatures will continue throughout the weekend.
