GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – A proposal for a five-story, 172-unit apartment building with a ground-level grocery store will be reviewed Tuesday by the city’s Redevelopment Authority.
It’s the latest version of project first introduced in October, 2019, by Gorman & Company.
According to the development agreement released with the agenda, the project would cost $22 million. It would include a mix of studio, 1-, 2-, and 3-bedroom apartments, and additional retail space besides the grocery store.
The city has long searched a downtown project with a grocery store component.
The 172 units are a change from a previous version of the project, which outlined 76 apartments and 10 townhomes.
The RDA meets at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, in an online session.
