MADISON, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — COVID-19 hospitalizations in Wisconsin are down 92% from their peak in the Fall.
The Wisconsin Hospital Association said that as of Monday, there were 186 people reported as hospitalized statewide due to the virus.
“We fell almost as dramatically when people responded as they needed to,” said WHA’s Kelly Leitz. “We’ve seen case counts and hospitalizations fall pretty steadily.”
Hospital officials across the state say the drop has allowed them to more effectively treat patients.
The high was 2,277 patients on Nov. 17th.
