MADISON, WI (WLUK) — Wisconsin’s Department of Health Services says 2,631,948 have received at least one COVID-19 vaccine dose, making up about 45.2% of the population.
Trailing behind is the number of Wisconsinites who have completed their vaccination series at 2,284,309, or 39.2%
While Wisconsin kids ages 12-15 were first eligible to get the shots Thursday, Saturday the DHS reported 3.1%, or 9,079 children and teens in the age group, got their first shot. That’s doubles the amount of kids vaccinated Thursday.
The state also reports vaccinators have put 4,852,017 total shots in arms as of Friday.
Breaking that number down by each provider, 187,627 doses of Johnson and Johnson’s vaccine has been administered so far, while 2,060,067 doses of Moderna’s vaccine have been administered in the state.
As for Pfizer’s vaccine, 2,603,919 of those shots have been administered.
