GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) — The Brown County Sheriff’s Office is on the lookout for a number of people who they say cashed checks that were stolen through the mail prior to being received by their actual owner.
Checks have been showing up cashed at different bank branches in Northeast Wisconsin.
Two vehicles have been linked to the fraud, both of which were seen in late April. One is a blue 4-door Chevy Silverado. The second is a Chrysler minivan.
