GRAND CHUTE, WI (WTAQ) – Professional baseball makes its return to the region as the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers are ready to take the field tomorrow night (Tuesday) for the first time since 2019.
The T-Rats, top Class A farm team of the Milwaukee Brewers, open up against the Beloit Snappers at Fox Cities Stadium.
“It’s been I guess a year and half since we’ve had baseball, we’re anxious to get going…yeah”
Rob Zerjav is the T-Rats President.
“We actually, we’re following everything that major league baseball and the Brewers are doing.”
There will be a cap on stadium capacity, about 38 percent. Masks will be required, there will be plenty of hand sanitizer around the ballpark and social distancing encouraged.
