GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) — Bay Beach Amusement Park is opening up this weekend.
The park opens for its season on Saturday, and Park Manager Jason Arnoldi says they’re hoping to make it seem as normal as possible.
“We’ve spent the entire off-season getting everything ready for, hopefully, a year that’s a little bit more normal than, say, last year was,” Arnoldi told WTAQ.
Masks will not be required at the park, except for at the pavilion.
There are no occupancy restrictions, either.
“My hope is that we start moving back towards a more normal summer,” Arnoldi said. “Although I don’t expect a fully normal summer.”
Guests won’t notice too many changes from last year, or even the year before.
With the downturn last year, we had to put a couple projects on hold,” said Arnoldi. “Hopefully we’ll get going on those in the fall.”
The park is open through to September.
