NEENAH, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — The woman police believe stabbed and killed a man found in a Neenah street hasn’t been arrested yet, but she has been charged with his death.
Terran Colwell, 28, was charged with felony murder for the April 17 death of Rodger Ridgeway, 22. A warrant has been issued for her arrest.
Mandel Roy, 26, also faces a felony murder count in the case. He made his initial court appearance Tuesday, with a preliminary hearing set for May 6.
Felony murder is an allegation the suspect caused the victim’s death while in the act of another crime, in this case, battery.
“The evidence obtained by Neenah Police Department investigators shows that Mandel Roy began fighting with (Ridgeway), committing at least a battery, using a blunt weapon. Terran Colwell also became involved in the fight, likely stabbing (Ridgeway) with a knife, causing injuries that resulted in (Ridgeway)’s death. Roy and Colwell continued to fight with (Ridgeway) even after his apparent attempts to get away,” the criminal complaint states.
Ridgeway suffered five stab wounds, another incision, and multiple bruises. Stab wounds to the chest were fatal, the complaint states.
