GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) – A man who robbed three convenience stores back in January has been convicted.
25-year-old Jaccob Pate pleaded no contest to two counts of armed robbery on Monday.
Pate admitted to robbing Superior Discount Liquor on Military Avenue, Dino Stop Shell on South Ashland Avenue and Pit Row Shell on University Avenue.
According to the criminal complaint, Pate admitted to the robberies, saying he did it to support his family and a drug habit.
He also convicted in Kewaunee County for another robbery, also on Jan. 8, at a Luxemburg convenience store and will be sentenced Aug. 29 in that case.
