GRAND CHUTE, WI (WTAQ) – Grand Chute Police made an arrest in a Walmart robbery from last week.
“Investigators worked tirelessly and they did not have a lot of information to go off of.”
Police took 56-year-old Daniel Fox into custody on Thursday after a week-long investigation.
“Interviewed every witness, got a little more information where the suspect went to after leaving the store, getting a vehicle description and being able to locate the vehicle,” said Grand Chute Police Officer Travis Waas.
Officers responded to the Walmart on Mutual Way on July 29 for a robbery call.
Witnesses say the man entered the store with his face and arms painted. He handed a clerk at the customer service counter a note, demanding money and saying he was armed with a gun.
“Anytime something like this happens at that time of day, you are going to have eyewitnesses.”
No gun was ever shown during the incident.
Formal charges have not been filed against Fox.
