MANAWA, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – A new fitness center is just one upgrade happening in the Manawa school district.
The district held a groundbreaking Wednesday at Little Wolf Junior and Senior High School.
The 11,000 square-foot expansion project will also include a new administration area.
Renovations inside the school also are happening throughout the year, including rebuilding the science and tech education areas as well as upgrading infrastructure.
The projects were approved by school district voters in November.
Earlier this year, the Manawa Elementary School started construction on a new parking lot and bus turnaround.
All the renovations are expected to be complete in the fall of 2020.
