OSHKOSH, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – Former Menasha municipal judge Len Kachisnky was convicted by a jury Monday on one of three counts of violating a restraining order.
A one-day jury trial was held on the misdemeanor counts. A six-month jail sentence was stayed by Judge Guy Dutcher, court records show.
Kachinsky was ordered to stay away from the village’s court clerk. The charges alleged he violated those terms on three occasions, but he was convicted of just one instance.
He previously was acquitted of a stalking charge involving the clerk. He has been subject to discipline by the Wisconsin Supreme Court.
