WISCONSIN (WTAQ-WLUK) – Foxconn’s plans for “innovation centers” across the state seem to be on hold as the technology giant focuses on the main manufacturing campus in Mount Pleasant.
The company promised to invest $10 billion in the state and hire 13,000 people.
The innovations centers planned for a handful of cities, including Green Bay, have yet to move forward. Green Bay Economic Development Director Kevin Vonck has not heard that they will not continue their project and believes the company will officially submit plans and start construction at the Watermark building next year.
