TWO RIVERS, WI (WTAQ) – Investigators are releasing the name of a Two Rivers police officer involved in a fatal shooting.
The state Department of Justice reports Officer Dakota Gamez opened fire during a traffic stop Monday night along Washington Street, killing 31-year old Nash Fiske. Gamez has been placed on administrative leave. He has been with the department for almost three years.
The DOJ’s Division of Criminal Investigation continues to work on the case. Few other details have been released at this time.
