OCONTO COUNTY, WI (WTAQ) – One person is dead, another hospitalized after a crash along State Highway 22 in Oconto County.
Deputies responded to the scene just after 11 p.m. Friday night. A pickup truck towing a skid steer on a trailer crossed the centerline and struck a vehicle driven by a 53-year old Oconto woman. The woman died at the scene. The 30-year old Lena area man driving the truck was taken to a hospital for treatment of his injuries.
The cause of the crash is under investigation and the people involved have not yet been identified.
