MENASHA, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — A Northeast Wisconsin job center is opening its doors again after being closed because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Fox Cities Job Center in Menasha is reopening for limited, in-person appointments. The decision is based on declining virus infections and rising vaccinations, according to a news release.
Appointments, which are 50 minutes in length, will only take place Mondays and Wednesdays from 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. and Tuesdays and Thursdays from noon-4 p.m. A maximum of two appointments per person per week can be scheduled.
Visitors, who are required to wear a face mask, must have basic computer skills to independently navigate the computer’s operation. Staff are available for limited assistance and will be spaced six feet apart. One person can be brought along to input data into the computer if necessary, the release says.
Appointments can be made by calling (920) 997-3272. Walk-ins are not available.
